Plantation

The Haritha Haram Plantation Drive is one of the flagship environmental initiatives undertaken in Mahabubabad District as part of the Government of Telangana's Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme. The campaign aims to increase the district's green cover through large-scale plantation of saplings along roadsides, public institutions, schools, parks, forest areas, village commons, and urban spaces. The initiative actively involves government departments, educational institutions, local bodies, voluntary organizations, and citizens in promoting environmental conservation and sustainable development.
